PLAN YOUR VISIT

What to expect when you visit

We are currently only offering one English speaking worship assembly at 9 AM in our auditorium and a Spanish speaking service in our Hispanic  worship area.
For growing families with young children, we offer a nursery during both our worship services and during our class times.
Families with teenagers will be drawn to our active youth ministry that meets in the Yack Shack, which is a separate building in our parking lot.  Promiseland worship is offered concurrent with our worship assemblies for children ages 4 thru 11. Those classes will meet at 10:30 AM, upon the conclusion of our normal worship services.

Worship

  • During a typical worship assembly, we sing 8 to 10 songs.  We project the songs onto screens during our morning assemblies.  Song books are available for those who wish to use them.  Our singing is acapella and from the heart.
  • We pray every time we are together.
  • We offer communion to every person who would like to partake every Sunday.
  • We give a voluntary offering each Sunday.  We offer multiple ways to give including cash or check as the baskets are passed during service, text-to-give from your mobile phone or online giving via our mobile app.
  • Our pulpit minister offers a lesson from scripture during each worship service.  Lessons are typically 20-25 minutes in length.

What should I wear?

Most people wear clothes similar to what they wear to work or school.  Some people prefer to wear suits or dresses, others are more casual.  We welcome people to come as they are.

For those with disabilities

Rural Hill is an inclusive church.  We have a number of individuals with unique needs and we help them attend worship and classes in the way that is most comfortable for them.
Rural Hill is "wheelchair friendly."  We are accustomed to and welcome people with limited mobility.  Reserved parking spaces exist to encourage your attendance.
